The rules of the road.

These terms (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Dappness Ltd, a company registered in Scotland, trading as BonkProof (“BonkProof”, “we”, “us”) — covering your use of the BonkProof Telegram bot, the bonkproof.ai website, and any related features (together, the “Service”). By starting a chat with the bot or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old and capable of entering a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use BonkProof. By using the Service, you confirm this is the case.

Your BonkProof account is tied to your Telegram user ID. You are responsible for activity that occurs on your Telegram account, including messages sent to the bot. Keep your Telegram login secure; if you lose access to the Telegram account you used to sign up, contact us at support@bonkproof.ai.

BonkProof generates coaching suggestions using a large language model (Anthropic's Claude) combined with your profile and activity data. It's designed to help structured amateur cyclists train smarter, but it's still an AI, and it can be wrong.

BonkProof is not a substitute for a qualified medical professional, physiotherapist, or certified coach. Nothing the bot says is medical advice. Training carries inherent risk — you are responsible for deciding whether any given session is safe and appropriate for you. If you have a medical condition, are recovering from injury, are pregnant, or are unsure whether exercise is safe for you, consult a qualified professional before following any plan.

You agree to use common sense: stop if you feel unwell, don't train through pain you shouldn't, and adjust intensity to match how your body is responding.

If you connect Strava, you authorise BonkProof to read your activity and profile data under the activity:read_all and profile:read_all scopes. We use this data only to provide coaching in line with our Privacy Policy.

You can revoke BonkProof's access at any time from your Strava settings. When you do, your Strava-sourced activity data is deleted from our systems. Your use of Strava is governed by Strava's API terms and privacy policy.

BonkProof offers a free trial and paid subscription tiers. Pricing shown at checkout is what you'll be charged. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

Payments are processed by Stripe. You authorise us (via Stripe) to charge the payment method you provide for the subscription fees and applicable taxes.

You can cancel at any time by sending /account in Telegram or through Stripe's customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may change prices with at least 14 days' notice; changes apply to renewals on or after the effective date.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful, abusive, harassing, or harmful to others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent rate limits or access controls.
• Submit content you don't have the right to submit, or prompts designed to extract other users' data.
• Resell, sublicense, or share the Service with other users under a single account, or attempt to use it in ways that materially exceed fair personal use.
• Upload malware, attempt to disrupt the Service, or probe it for vulnerabilities outside a responsible-disclosure context.
• Use outputs from the Service to train a competing AI model or coaching product.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

You retain ownership of the information and content you submit — profile details, messages, uploaded images. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use that content solely to operate and improve the Service, including sending it to our AI provider to generate your coaching responses. You represent that you have the rights to the content you submit.

Coaching responses are generated by an AI model and may contain inaccuracies. Outputs are for your personal use. You should not rely on them as authoritative — especially on matters of health, safety, nutrition, or competition rules. We make no warranty that outputs will be accurate, safe, or suitable for any particular purpose.

We aim to keep the Service available but can't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Where a change materially reduces the value of a paid plan, we'll give notice and, where appropriate, offer a pro-rata refund.

You can stop using the Service and request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@bonkproof.ai. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, abuse the Service, or cause a risk to us or other users. On termination, any accrued fees remain payable and clauses that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers and limitations) will survive.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of AI output. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BonkProof will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) £50 (or local equivalent). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).

You agree to indemnify and hold BonkProof harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any third party's rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts, except where your local consumer law grants you an irrevocable right to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you via the bot or email and give you a reasonable window to review them. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
